The wide angled even spray pattern produced by the Hypro 30DT1.5 DeflecTip Spray Nozzles (at low pressures) is great for broadcast spraying and banding applications with pre-emergence and post-emergence herbicides. When used at medium pressures, these spray nozzles are ideal for applying cereal fungicides.
The precision-molded polyacetal construction on the nozzles offer excellent chemical resistance when handling many agricultural chemicals. The large, round orifices produce coarser droplets that are less susceptible to drift and reduce blockages. The Hypro DeflecTip Spray Nozzles can be mounted on machinery that requires wide angle patterns or low spray heights and on low pressure sprayers (eg. manual sprayers).

Strainers are installed in the nozzle body behind the nozzle and cap. They work by filtering out any debris that may enter the nozzle, protecting tip orifices from clogs and damage.
