  • Condition: Very good condition with some wearing away of the gilded handles at the top of the vase. No cracks, chips or repairs are visible. Interior of vase has some staining and discoloration. There are some paint mistakes, made when the vase was created.

    Description

    The beautiful antique Nippon Japanese double handled vase is decorated with vibrant pink and pale pink roses, leaves and and gold gilt embellishments decorating the center and sides of the vase.  The gold gilt with tiny beadwork is painted over the pink roses, and green leaves which all lie on a a pale green background.  It dates from the late 1800's - 1920's.  There is no mark of manufacture.
    -It is about 10 inches tall and 6.5 inches from handle to handle, and about 5 inches in diameter at its widest and 3 inches in diameter at its base.  It weighs 1 lb., 9.7 oz.  *Please note that colors can vary due to monitor or screen used.
