Antique Nippon Porcelain Tray Platter Cobalt & Gold Trim W/ Hand Painted Florals

Description

For sale is this beautiful cobalt blue and gold trim bordered antique porcelain vanity tray with hand painted pink flowers and intricate hand painted gold gilt scroll decoration and bead detailing. The green maple Nippon mark on the back dates this piece to circa1890-1921. The tray measures approximately 10.25 inches wide x 8 inches long.  Some wear of gold gilt scroll detail is
noted
on the cobalt border, and
there is some discoloration on the back where there is no glaze finish,
