ART DECO TRE-JUR Paris Aluminum Powder Compact 1920's-1930's

Description

This vintage art deco compact was made by Tre-Jur a French company.  Made of aluminum (which was invented in 1856 by a Frenchman).  Pretty roses and flowers adorn the top with a gold color wash over the entire compact.  It is about 3" in diameter.  It is marked Tre-Jur with an art deco mark added.  The internet says that this mark was used in 1928.Very good condition for its age.  Some of the gold wash has been worn away.  Please email with any question.  We only ship to the lower 48 states.  Please look at our other auctions to save on shipping.
