Complete; both plastic bags still stapled, unopened.
I am the original owner; I wish I had built this before arthritis set in because it looks so cool!

The
Merrimac
was the wooden tall ship from which the hull was taken and refitted with the iron-clad upper casement section which the Confederacy then renamed the CSS
Virginia
.
The scale of the
Monitor
is 1/210.
The scale of the
Merrimac
is 1/300.
The weakness in this is the thin cardboard the manufacturer chose to use for the box, so it is a bit distorted, and does show signs of wear.   But as far as I can tell all the pieces of this rare kit are there and are not damaged.
