    Description

    Vintage Nippon Vase
    Measures approximately 4 1/4" high by 2 1/2" wide
    A hand painted Art Deco Nippon vase illustrating a rural landscape on a gold background
    The vase has a squared form with a high shoulder and gold handles at each side of a short neck.
    Colors are yellow, brown, orange and gold tones and a little light green
    The vase is ink stamped appropriately to the bottom.
    Backstamp = “M in Wreath”, M stands for Morimura Bros. (importers).  Mark used since 1911.  Found in green (shown), blue, magenta, and gold colors.  Van Patten’s #47
    This item comes from an Estate that had several pieces of Nippon. Check out my other auctions.
